Gender Reveal Party

Our reveal party was such a great time...I'm so glad that we decided to have one, it was really special for both of us. We loved finding out what Peanut is with the people that we love. 

To start off, we had a Pink Vs. Blue theme. With the Super Bowl the next day I thought it was a great way to tie everything in. I picked up the cupcakes on Friday, along with the envelope! I made it this far and wasn't about to peek now! I love how these turned out, team blue and team pink with only ONE surprise cupcake!

I also loved our football cake pops!

Here is the set up!  My awesome husband built these bleachers for me. 

We had everyone come in either pink or blue to show their team colors! 

Here is Team Blue! We had a lot of supporters!

We had a few games planned...baby pictionary was a hit! We had a lot of fun making guesses.

 

We had a gender money pot. The people that wanted to put money in either the "lips" or mustache" jar. Once we found out the gender we drew a name from the BOY jar! 

My Grandma was picked and she let us keep the money! 

How sweet!

We also had lip and mustache pins that everyone wore. 

I REALLY didn't do a great job at taking pictures of these details....

I know I know. I'm bad, really bad but I was running around like crazy getting things together. People started showing up before I realized that it was time, my plan to take pictures of these details before went up in flames!

Okay, so on to the good part. Everyone chose their cupcake, on the count of three we all bit in...

and then we waited 

and waited. 

No one said anything for a few seconds and my heart stopped

WHO HAD THE CUPCAKE!!!

My Father-in-law had it the whole time!

We had a blast, it was such a memorable experience. We are so thankful for everyone coming and celebrating with us! 

Now on to obsessing about all things boy!
