Only a few days away!

Well, we have had a few crazy days here lately. We had our 16 week appointment on Friday where we were to HOPEFULLY be able to get the gender results....

After much trying and a very stubborn peanut, the sonographer was unable to tell the gender! :(
Baby wasn't cooperating and had the umbilical chord between its legs and then was hanging out with its legs crossed!

HMMMM...
Didn't you know that Mommy and Daddy were really excited to get the news? We were quickly and easily reminded of how incredible God is and had to laugh at our sweet one propping its legs up and hanging out in the picture below.
How adorable is that?!

With a party already planned, invites sent out and cupcakes ordered,  I began to stress a bit. I thought that this might happen, so I planned the party for a the next weekend (February 2nd)
:)
The next day we went to a place that specializes in gender reveals and had a second go around!

This time I was sure to down some orange juice before the appointment to get Peanut moving.
As soon as the sonographer began she laughed and said that this was a crazy kid...
Sitting straight on its head!
After some work and a great sonographer we heard our good news!

It was so hard to keep that envelope closed! We drove straight to the bakery and dropped it off.
HOW EXCITING!

It's Tuesday, our party will be here before we know it!
We are both so glad that we decided not to peek...I love knowing that everyone will find out at the same time!

Now to just decide which team I'll be supporting...
PINK?
BLUE?
So hard to decide!!!

XOXO

  1. OMG that was my biggest fear with doing gender reveal parties for both of my boys! Luckily it worked out okay for us, but I know you are glad you planned ahead and scheduled it a little later. I can't wait to hear what you are having! What is your guess?

You can see my gender reveal party for Cooper here- http://kdcline.blogspot.com/2011/06/gender-revealbetter-late-than-never.html

I haven't done the post for #2 yet.
